Grape Varieties: RedGrenache, Carignan, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon.
The winemaking of “Lytos” requires the grapes harvesting from vines in adulthood, with good maturity and its further processing on the selection table. Fermentation takes place at a moderate temperature, looking for a good colour extraction and the best ripe tannin. As soon as alcoholic fermentation is finished, malolactic fermentations are started, part of them in French oak barrels. Once the wine is finished, it will start the barrel aging for twelve months in French Oak, completing its structure and complexity with the contribution of Oak. This way we get a wine pleasant, soft (ripe tannin), with a good volume; ready for consumption or otherwise it can be kept in bottle for the evolution of its tannins.

Cherry color, very bright, and with a tinge of violet.
The first impression in nose is intense, showing notes of wild berries (blackberries, currants and gooseberries) and floral nuances (violet). After a brief oxygenation, are more complex notes highlighting soft balsamic notes (eucalyptus), spicy and herbs, as well as some nuances produced by aging in oak barrels (intense vanilla and cocoa, and light roasted notes)

His attack on the palate is both fresh, intense and kind, all this is symptomatic of a successful balance between freshness (acidity), the integration of alcohol (gently) and mature structure (tannins). In its evolution in the mouth, shows the volume and persistence, highlighting the flavor of ripe fruits (blackberries and gooseberries) and the shade floral (violet), which subsequently leads to notes of cocoa and roasted, to finish with a marked slow licorice aftertaste.

Deep cherry colour, with a violet reflection. This wine is dense and very bright. The first impression on the nose is clean and intense, at first showing notes of fresh new oak (Cedar) and toasted notes. After a brief oxygenation, it appear ripe fruit notes (Cassis and Blackberries) and floral nuances (Violet), later on tends to show more balsamic and spicy aromas, highlighting even more toasted notes. Fresh and powerful in mouth, with plenty of ripe tannins, showing a lush (because of its intensity) balance. His attack highlights ripe but fresh fruits (Cassis and Dark Plums), with a remarkable floral touch (Violet) and toasted notes. During its evolution, more complex nuances take place (Vanilla), with spicy aromas and floral hints increasing. It seems a never ending wine, but slowly is turning to a smooth liquorice taste with the always there, toasted touch. The overall impression is of a wine of a great youth and high volume, powerful, well-balanced and tasty; assuming immediate consumption or evolution in bottle.
